HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO BE A SUCCESSFUL AFFILIATE MARKETER? 

Now, i would firstly ask, a couple of counter questions……

How much time are you willing to spend in your day, as an affiliate marketer?

What does success actually mean to you?

Now, regarding time, if that time is spent productively, then it will ensure you are moving your affiliate business forwards quicker than someone who isn’t - pushing you closer to success.

And then, on the subject of success - someone who deems $200 a month from affiliate marketing a success, is different from someone who wants to earn $5,000 a month.

Thinking about that a bit more, it would take everyone a different amount of time to be “successful”, depending on the amount of productive time they could put into the business and what success actually meant for them.

And that’s the point really.

I personally wouldn’t be putting a time line on when your success is going to happen.

Why? Because it’s not just about time and how much money you want to earn a month.

It’s about much more.

Education

Your education into starting and growing a business online is crucial.

Personally for me, i had a mentor from day one guide me into understanding exactly what i had to master, so i could start and grow a business online, the right way.

So i could appreciate how all the cogs turned and how “everything under the hood” worked.

He also shared with me one of the most important lessons in online business that has stuck with me since i started….

He said that "businesses are grown by giving value and building relationships".

When you aren’t chasing money, and you put the focus in on the people you are speaking to - that is when relationships can be built, and that is when people will begin to know, like and trust you.

Which will all lead to the best chance of making money.

The High Converting Offers

Once you have a solid education and understanding, then you must have a line of products to sell.

Great thing about being an affiliate marketer is that you don’t create your own products, you sell other people’s - and you earn money through doing it.

You will want to do your due diligence in terms of the best, most high converting offers/products to promote and sell.

Another pearl of wisdom that my mentor gave me, was this formula:

Targeted Traffic + High Converting Offers = CASH

Once targeted traffic meets a high converting offer, then that is where CASH is made!

Which brings me on to…..

Targeted Traffic

Now, all of us surfing the net? See us as traffic.

We are all going around in a crazy amount of directions, going to different destinations.

Targeted traffic is mastering the ability to attract the right type of people, out of all that traffic, who would be most likely be attracted to what your business has to offer them.

So you can give them value, through content, and provide them with a service in order for them to see your business as a helpful, and thoughtful one.

Ultimately, building a relationship with them.

Once that level of targeted traffic meets a high converting offer? Well then, that is when money is made.

Mastering and devoting your time to one free traffic method (creating content on a blog), and one paid traffic method (FB Ads as an example) is the best thing to start off doing.

A Strategy Plan

Once you have everything in place (a solid mentor should provide you with a step by step way into doing EVERYTHING you need to), then it is ALL about creating a plan that you deliver on everyday.

Your focus within that plan, should predominately be on generating traffic.

So, your aim will be to consistently create content (free traffic), and/or buy traffic (paid traffic).

Stick to it daily.

Remain committed to it.

And above all - don’t think about how long it will take…

Too many different variables

The time it takes for you to be “successful” will be dependent on:

The education you receive, along with the support/guidance as you implement that education.

Your understanding of how to generate traffic (free and paid).

Your commitment to delivering on your plan/strategy, on a daily basis to build your business.

Then, it’s the two areas that i mentioned at the beginning.

The productive time that you can spend working on your business as well as, what success actually means for you.
